I came across a stamp with the overprint of Tchad, and figure thats where it goes. But also some other overprinting.Africa ecudoral and francaise. Not positive on the spellings as there is a dark cancellation through parts.
THanks for your help as to where this belongs.
All the overprint is on a french stamp.

I think this is the series (1924-33) you are talking about.
Originally Moyen Congo (Middle Congo), overprinted Tchad, and then overprinted again Afrique équatoriale française.
It is a rather long series with denominations going from 1 centime to 5 francs.
Hope this helps.

Belongs to Tchad,
A lovely, in some parts beautiful, country but one of the poorest in the world.
Shares a similar flag to Romania

So Chad has a smaller flag, otherwise no difference.

Reviewing my "World Encyclopedia of Flags" they are very simular. But the images above are for Romania, the difference is in the yellow. Romania is a bright yellow with the Chad flag is a darker shade of yellow. The size of the flags are the same ratio is 2:3

No problem Rod222, my pleasure!

Until now, I'd not paid those flags any attention.
