I have really enjoyed LB's books and now his monthly column in Linns. Here are two of my favorite quotes from his column. I can certainly relate to his thinking.

Quote:
". . . philately is far and away the area of my life where I spend he most time and effort making genuinely inconsequential decisions."

Quote:
"Where philately is concerned, I'm quite particular about how I waste my time."

I also enjoy his column in Linn's and have even read a few in American Stamp Dealer and Collector magazine. I have not read his books, I'm hoping to find them used.

Dude - All three of the John Keller (Hit Man) series are available used and pretty cheap on Amazon.

You WILL enjoy them or PhilB will give you your money back.

I have to agree, his columns are probably the best part of Linn's these days, other than the continual onslaught of sour grapes expressed in the Letters to the Editor section.
