Anyone know anything about these stamps. I live in Canada and do not have any United States postal books. Thanks.

seems a little pricey for a common cover with stains.

It's a combination first day cover. It's actually well priced compared to the Scott catalog value. I have the 2004 Scott's FDC catalog and it puts it at $40. The Art Craft cachet is common. The gum toning you see is fairly common with Art Craft covers. The glue of the envelope ages like that and not much one can do about it.

Kind of a tough call. A pristine cover in this case without attention to the cachet would catalog in the area of $11.00. Soooo....with the particular grouping here and the cachet there has to be some premium added. But, and a big but it is, is the issue of the toning through and through the cover. My own humble opinion would be that while the price as it currently stands is probably reasonable, I would not want to add it to my collection based on condition. I would have misgivings every time I looked at it and I certainly wouldn't want to exhibit or show it off to anyone. I like the cover but, I would look for a better copy.
