London 2010....the Time Has Come !

I will be off in the night to London. Been very busy this past week and have had little time to connect with you all.

I also had a work accident which meant a minor operation on my foot this morning, 24 hours before the flight ! I hope it will be OK and I will be able to walk all those miles around the Exhibitions !!

I will try to get to a computer to say hello and let you know what's going on.

If not, Chat soon in a couple of weeks.
I will miss you all.

So off I go to the BIGGEST STAMP FESTIVAL THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN.........WHOOOPPPEEEEEE !

Wow, good luck. I hope your foot doesn't get really bothersome on the flight because pressure differentials can really raise havoc with new wounds. Have fun...

Just sitting relaxing and drooling over my hosts KGV South African collection !

Yesterday I was at Philatex Extra and will post pics when I get back. It was a massive dealers bourse, quite pricey and not too busy ! But it was fun.
I sat chatting to a guy who organized one of the emergency courier post services during the 1971 Postal strike in the UK, and he showed me some full sheets and original press clippings and information leaflets...fascinating ! I then purchased a bunch !

Foot holding up OK, no limping and no stick

Off to the Royal Philatelic Society today for a nose around and a Philatelic Afternoon Cream Tea.....better dress nice !
