Hi,

Please forgive my ignorance.

I thought that the "most expensive" or maybe most sought after stamp was that upside down airplane stamp (think I saw it in Brewster's Millions)

When I was looking on google etc. that stamp didn't even enter any discussions. Did it just die out or something?

Thanks.

thats an expensive stamp but I dont think we can call it the most sought after. Please realize that there have been over 300 stamp issuing entities that people care about so different strokes for different folks :)

They are still highly sought after by those who can afford them... it's been kind of a favorite subject of mine to write about on my blog over the years. In fact, HR. Harmer has 2 of them up for auction in it's upcoming sale on June 4 - 5. You can see them both, along with a forgery block of 4 here: http://www.hrharmer.com/Auctions/Au...&Keyword=c3a
