4 eggs !
That's a bit excessive !
Two is enough for one breaky.
OK, for fear of boredom setting in, I will throw upon you the last lot of pics from the last day. I hope it's not a Bridge too far !

I will scan some items I picked up that might be of interest, but will post on another thread as this one is in danger of overloading !
Then I'll crawl into my corner and catch up on messages and new threads while I was away. There's a lot!
But for now.....
FRIDAY MAY 14TH: WORK AND FAREWELL AT THE BDC.This was the last day of an exhausting but wholly satisfying trip, one I will remember for a long time to come.
Here are a few pics of the last day.
I worked some hours at the Stamp Active Youth Stand.

Above pic of John Davies [left], Head of Stamp Active network; Dave Armitage [His Canada Collection is just about complete !]; and..er, Oh yes....a Londonbus !
The pic below is Dane Garrod, philatelic Photographer and ABPS Executive Committee member....a truly funny and very learned character...would make a great after-dinner speaker !

An unannounced surprise for everyone was the showing of the.....

....but it was tucked away in a corner under the stairs leading up to the gallery....with it's own armed guard !

In fact, a number of people did not see it at all and I found it all a bit strange. I only came across it by chance and actually bumped into an Internet Buddy at the very spot...some coincidence !
What wasn't easy to miss, were the superb hand-dryers in the Washrooms ! Quite amazing....Dyson must be proud.

The displays were great but some were a little poorly lit. Also Gibbons broke a world record for the biggest cover which went up on display on May 8th. It's quite big and certainly wouldn't fit through my letterbox !

Not all the stands were busy, but Delcampe Auctions did well for an advertising stand and were rarely quiet. I hope they recruited lots of customers !
Sebastian Delcampe is on the right of the picture with his hand on his chin ! A very nice guy.

That's about it. A good cross-section of pictures that I hope you've enjoyed. My camera packed up on me at Heathrow so the famous See-through Post Boxes will come another time. That little setback did not detract from a unique and exciting holiday.
Stamp and info scans to come on another thread...but first, to catch up a little on all those other great threads I see before me !
Thanks for Looking.
