David,
Even asking that question in the first place was kind of insolent! Remember, I was born and raised in NY, so I'm a die-hard Yankee... I just found it kind of ironic that the CSA stamp was cancelled on the 4th of July.

I have never heard of a Confederate independence day. I have heard of Confederate Memorial Day. It is April 26 and used to be a state holiday here in Georgia.

G'Day Phil sorry mate I've been head down and you know what up so I'm a bit slow at responding,I think it great to lay out the covers on a large table that way you can co-late what looks good or what you need to tell a story, and yes I'm focused on two things at the moment and that the CSA (only 3 to go)and filling out my main album for U.S. stamps.
Just picked up a Scott#14 and #15 and many more like a very sound MNH 1053 and heaps of S/S sheets so as you see I've been busy, any way mate I have to post a new thread for this #506 I have with a #503 color.
cheers mate Harry
