Hi,

Just curious if anyone knows places that will take donations of common worldwide stamps, considering the abundance I have on hand.

I can always use some for the scouts I counsel to acquire their stamp collecting merit badges.

Veteran groups, boys/girls clubs, retirement homes, and scouting groups all would be places to donate too.

Another very good charity to consider would be "Stamps for the Wounded" which is a program of "Lion's International".

This group I think may take donations of stamps. They try to encourage todays young to get interested in stamp collecting.

I am interested in buying large quantities of common stamps, preferably off paper. Large numbers of duplicates are welcome. I live in Minneapolis MN USA.

I'm jumping on board rather late, but if you have any stamps left, I could use some for our junior stamp club and for the boy scout merit badge workshops I do. I wouldn't mind reimbursing you for postage.

Thank you very much!

One suggestion, put equal numbers of different stamps inside small sealed plastic bags, give them to your local school Principal for Student(5--10yo) distribution as Merritt Awards or gifts.
