Okay, I also came across these in a box, and I was wondering if anyone might be able to identify these. I know that these are not cancelled with a "First Day Of Issue" kind of cancellation, but I thought that they were interesting.

This first one is from a Portland Postal Employees National Air Mail Rose Show. As you can see the cancellation is dated June 7th 1939. Someone had this marked with Scott's #853, but when I looked it up, the stamp is, but I was more intersted in the Portland Postal cachet.

The second one is just a regular envelope, but what makes it interesting is the "Bernet's Air Mail Cover Service" from Newark NJ. There is no visible date inside the cancellation, but I am guessing that it is somewhere in the early to mid 1930's judging by the fact that it only takes 1 1/2 cents to mail the envelope. Someone had this marked at Scotts #740, but that is only 1 of the two stamps, and it is certainly not a cachetted FDC.
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'd love to hear them! Thanks....."Milestone" Marty
