Hi !

Little bite later :)

I collect stamp for about 20 years but I stop by period to left place at other hobby :)

My first collection was used stamps of Canada that it mist few item only and from 1990 I collect mint stamp, it's the only country that I collect mint.

After start I start to collect few country, most of this country are advenced.

Australia, Great-Britain, France, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, USA, Italia, Croatia, Norway, New-Zealand, Israël, Irland, Netherland, Germany

I also TRY to collect...

Christmas island, Coco's island, Alderney, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man , Island, United Nation (3 town) ,Liechtenstein, Andore, Monaco, Luxembourg, Vatican, St-Pierre et Miquelon, San-Marino...

Recently I had start a WW collection that I simply separate the country in Vario sheet. Ir's a cheap way to class my stamps and I can add some page when needed.

I don't like to pay for album, I prefer to buy more stamps ! I always make my album with stock book.

I have only one topic that I collect and it's baseball but it's very hard to find ! I already have the idea to collect picture postage of Canada but when I see the price on ebay I enderstand that it's too expensive lol

This year I also start to collect my own first day cover of Canada ! A simply buy stamps at day of issue and put them on a enveloppe and make cancel them.

It's about that for the moment :)

Thanks !

Welcome officially ccool!

If you ever see any Picture Postage let us (Puzzler and Bee See) know, we both collect these. And we can probably trade for them also. I have many worldwide now, I don't know how I did it, but I have tubs and tubs of stuff. Once a collector always a collector.

Some of the reason for the high prices (I don't like it really) on the Picture Postage stamps is that a few collectors have been driving the price up on a lot of auctions as they are wanting all of them. I find I have to slow down my buying and when I see one of these fellows I just stop bidding (usually) as I know they will pay a higher price usually.

But, then again, so will I, if the stamps strike me the right way.

If they are trying to drive the prices up unrealistically then I think it would be better to let many people win the auctions and get the stamps out there so people can enjoy them.

If you ever make any or know anyone that does, let us know also please.

You collect a lot of countries. Do you use just one size Vario page or many different sizes for each country? Is it all years that you collect (non-Canada) or just newer (post WWII era)?

By the way, I still have the Japan pics. I am a slow worker at times.

Hi !

For the postage picture, I already have the idea to collect them but the price are too expensive, when I have the chance to trade for one a make it but i'm not interrested to pay a lot for them.

But ! :P if you find the 3 last stamps on picture 1 and some on picture 2 I will send a gift lol

I use about just one size (7 row) , I collect only used and I thing that it's the better for me, it's not too small, I can easyly see the stamps. Some time a buy 1 or 2 row for souvenir sheet and bigger item. The 7 row it's the better universal I thing.

I prefer recent stmaps, it look better and more colorfull but I also have older. For my WW collection I just keep large and commemorative. I prefer to have 2 older stamp than 2 duplicate lol. I often buy older stamp at cheap price.

Thanks !

Don't you dare send me a gift. I like looking for stamps. I am slow and do get distracted by other things at times. I will look later tonight.
