Introduction

Hi to all!

I've been collecting stamps most of my life - I especially enjoy collecting USA, Canada, Germany, Vatican City and even try to occasionally add to my WW (up to 1955) collection.

The topics here at SCF are wide-ranging and the postings are extremely informative, friendly and courteous - just what most of us collectors are looking for!

I'm retired US Navy and currently enjoy teaching electronics classes. I also enjoy spending a lot of time with my grandchildren, gardening with my bride of 40+ years and reading.

It's so nice to meet all of you; I look forward to sharing stamp info and learning from all of you as well.

This is a pleasant place to talk stamps.

If you want to let me know what ships you served in, I'll keep an eye out for applicable covers. As you can imagine quite ma number of covers can pass through my hands.
