Modern U.S. isn't my thing, but if I'm reading Scott correctly, 2452 is engraved and 2452B is photo'd, and 2452B is untagged.

That is correct, Collin.

As is often the case, the difference is more obvious when the two stamps are placed side by side.

Please note that 2452 was regularly issued both tagged(2452) AND untagged(2452a). In general, you should not rely on absence of tagging to differentiate between #2452 and #2452B.

Hi ccool,

The 2452 was on cream colored paper, the 2452B was on white paper. There is a 2452D that has the date 1995 on it too.

The cross-bars of the 5s also have different spacing; one is squished together, the other is stretched out.
