From a recent covers set I received I got a few of these first intercontinental stamp covers from one city in the US to another one in either England or Ireland. Now, I know scott's usually does only stamps but how would one go evaluating these? Based on the stamps? Is there another catalog for this sort of thing? There are from mainly 1945 and from American Airlines.

I also got a couple of envelopes from the years 1907, 1917 and 1936. I'll post a scan of them laster as the scanner is currently being use.

So I'm guessing they are neither that popular or that there isn't a catalog for covers.

Hello, there are quite a few folks who collect first flight covers, but to figure out values is difficult. Early 1910's 1st flights can sell for hundreds, but most from the 1940's to 1950's sell for $1 to $20. I personally don't know if there's a specific catalog for the covers you have, but there's probably some sort of literature out there. I suggest googling the net for a title and author and see if someone then has the book for sale. Someone here might know offhand. Also you can search ebay and Delcampe for like covers and what they are selling at these days.
