I bought a 2007 US Specialized on Amazon a couple of months back. You may want to check there. My used copy with shipping only cost me about 10 bucks. |

I will re-scan them. I just need to put them out somewhere so I can do hi-res images. |

The first two are U71s since the bust points between the second & third notches of the inner oval. Theres seven different Scott numbers on these considering the color shades of the envelope. With scans its hard to tell what shades you'res are. One has the 1891 cancel, the other has to be between 1887 to 1889. The second is a PC5, Scott #UX9, released Dec.1st 1886. Have you located a Scotts Specialized US Catalog yet ? If not, my buddys at the stamp shop has several copys, I believe their 2005 copys that I can get.

If you want to identify old items and don't want to buy a catalog then go to www.google.com's book section (first item under "more") and search for Scott stamp catalog. The 1925 edition is quite detailed in describing varieties (but US law did not allow them to show the entire stamp.) Once the items are identified by year and die type, go to your local library to get the more recent identification numbers and valuations. This way you won't be spending hours in the library with a magnifying glass. Other full editions are also available including 1903, 1905, 1916 and 1921. They are also interesting from an historical perspective and some fun daydreaming. |

I did order from Amazon a complete set of 2009 Scott WW catalogs as well as a 2007 scott specialized. I am surprised on the low cost to buy used instead of new... I think total cost, including shipping was right around 160.00 for everything. Now I just gotta wait for the mail man. |
