Hi. New to the forums, obviously. Been a collector for about 30 years, I had put away my collection for the last 15 years, just recently pulled it out and forgot how much stuff I had accumulated. For instance forgot about a 150FDC's from 1934-1945 I had. A ton of correspondence from 1867 to 1904 from an old Mill in Lewiston Maine, used to be called the Franklin mill then Libby mill. Correspondence has stamped envelopes, postcards with stamp printed on it, etc.. even a few unused postcards. Tons of world stamps, I remembered I had collected a lot of British and British Colonies stamps, pre WW2. Anyway, If forgot 90% of the stamp knowledge I once had so I hence my handle. I thought it was appropriate.
oh and I forgot, the reason I am joining is to expand my knowledge, get answers to question I can't find anywhere else. and to talk to kindred spirits. I am still in the beginning stages of cataloging my collection. Back then there wasn't any software to do it., so it will be quite some time before I can take part in any trading/selling.
