Can Anybody Help Me Obtain A 8/29/10 Postmark?

I'm am needing to get an unaddressed cover canceled on a Sunday for my son's 4th birthday. I know from a previous discussion that some US PO's are open on Sundays (usually at International Airports). I could send you my stamped cover to be favor cancelled lightly tieing the stamp to the cover and a SASE to return it back to me undercover. Once I receive the cover back I will add a cachet of my son taken on his birthday. I've been doing a cover annually for him since his date of birth and would love to continue the tradition if possible.

Post offices in some shopping malls are open Sunday's. The one in Albany, NY is one. I'm not sure if I'll be around then due to possible work projects, but later on in August I potentially could do it if I'm around. I can let you know later. Good luck!

Not sure if this info is of interest to you but here is a list of USA stamps that were issued on August 29,maybe a cover with stamps issued on Aug 29 would be an added touch?

Yes that would be a nice touch, I hadn't thought of that. I've previously just used current stamps on my b-day covers. I do have a list of all those stamps to acquire for a FDC collection.

I am sorry to hear that your PO is closed on Saturdays.

Now I just need to find some that are open on Sundays....
