A couple of weeks ago I became confused at why I brought two used #30A's,I bid on one in Bidstart but with the alzheimer's I forgot the bidstart bid and bid on one in Wensy as well,I've just received both and to my surprise I have a #29 (light back ground behind Jefferson) and a #30A (dark back ground behind Jefferson)so how's my luck .

Now tell me,
are not stamp collectors the easiest people on the planet to please?

Well done Nugget, I'd say that's Karma.

O.K. you talked me into it LOL
here is the #30A
(Do the perf's look authentic to you it looks like a #12 with pin perf's)

here is the #29

and here are some others I've just picked up

a #72
(this has a thin bottom right center)

a #121

and a make believe #13 (side cut off a #35 I think)

the #13 only a space filler for the time being oh and I forgot to include the #261 in this lot but that can wait for another posting.

oh P.S. I have rotated the photo's on photobucket though It doesn't seem to have worked on this down load.

Is it just me, or does the stamp in that first pic look funny?
I can understand perfs being so deep into the stamp on one, or
two sides, but there are no margins at all. ???

I would guess that all four sides of that stamp have been perfed
sometime other than when the stamp was made. It doesn't look
'natural' on any side... To my novice eyes anyway.

Yes your right Ratio411 this is a question mark it looks like someone has done a bad job on re-perfing so this is why I thought It maybe a pin pref #12 .

To be honest I didn't notice the prefs on the #30A until I posted the photo, some times it's not only the small thing you miss and in reality I got what I paid for with this #30A another hole filler so you cant win them all .
And the best thing that did come out of this was the Scott #29

Aren't you lucky

My best guess with the #30A is someone has cut the perf's of a #30A to make it look like a #12 then realised it didn't work so tried to re-perf it to sell it,the buyer that sold it to me didn't mention the perf problem thinking another gullible patsy will buy it and that's if he doesn't see the perf problem and yes I didn't see it so another space filler my bad,and I cant blame the alzheimer's for this as I just didn't look at the perf's.
I'm going to keep it to remind me of how gullible I am as it will always be on the first page of my album that's if I remember why it's there .

harry, in private I would like to know what those cost.
I am asking because several people have gotten these stamps and I see a wide range of pricing on the internet.
Not sure what I should pay for one.
