Reading the "Free Scott 5" post, I wondered what was the 'first'
stamp in Dad's collection. I never really paid attention, as much
as I have gone through the books...

Anyway, where does your collection start, by Scott #?
Lowest regular number first.

I'll start:

Dad's collection starts with Scott 10.

whatever Scott num that may be.

Scott 1 for US, Scott 1 and SG 1 for Great Britain.

As for the first stamp I ever acquired, I don't remember. It would have to have been something from the post office back in about 1957.
