Some things you cannot look for in Scott.

If memory serves me (for me, a dangerous thing to rely on), I believe that was issued by the Croatian government in exile -- not valid for postage.

A set of 6, although I'm guessing that a parallel set of imperforates also exist.

Your example is the flower set. There is a also a set of birds in the same format.

By the way, your example appears to be slightly mis-perforated. There should be a larger bottom margin; your ornaments are not complete.

I edited after your last post. In case you missed it, your cinderella is appears to be slightly mis-perforated.

I found an example online of a single from the bird set.

You can see the complete ornaments at bottom.

And yes, I have confirmed it was issued by the Croatian government in exile.

Unfortunately, the link to a site showing a collection of those issues is not working.

Ahhh, but they ARE in the Witt Collection reference! My memory does sort of work!

Click on the following link, and then scroll down the links at left to Croatia 1953. You will see 6 pages showing the bird and flower sets.

That's a nice shadow effect in that pic, Rod! It almost looks like the stamps are suspended in mid-air!

Not my image K,
someone sent it to me years ago, when I found an example of the Croatian cinder.
but I think you can get this effect in most drawing
programs by using "dropped image" shadow.
Although I have not tried it.

You can see from the pics, that the slight mis-perf was probably a serious quality control problem.

Line perforating triangulars, must have been a tricky job at best,
after the first pass, the sheet must have been flexible
and extremely fragile.
