What do you guys do to get these?
Is there such a thing as kilo ware or lots what haven't been picked over anymore?

You can find large lots of stamps on or off paper on ebay. There are also stores that dedicate themselves to providing material in this fashion, though your local stamp dealer would also have this available. Mine does.

I have checked ebay and Bidstart some for kilo. If you do a search by lb you get more results. I just have not found what I am looking for. I want off paper US with older stamps including revenue and bob and at a decent price. I have been debating even trying some world on paper. I just have nightmares of trying to soak my US newer issues that I am afraid to try out other countries and be stuck with a ton of stamps on paper.

For self-stick stamps from the US, the best thing is to trim back as much of the paper as possible without cutting into the stamp. I have gotten pretty good at this, so that you can hardly tell by looking at them that they are on paper. I have also found that if the stamps are not too long stuck, you can simply peel them back off the envelope. Once you peel them off, though, they do not stick very well to anything else.

i try to get them from non stamp people...like when a fellow sold me a pickup truck load of stamps that belonged to his mother for 75 dollars....it does not happen everyday..but a load like that keeps me busy for a year or two..after I get my money back I just about give them away like 5 percent of catalog..i guess I will never be a business man !!

This ebay seller (weaver36) in the UK sells unpicked kiloware all the time:

Uses real stamps on the package also. Postage is or can be expensive (I like airmail unfortunately) but I do enjoy a treasure hunt.

Thanks for the link. I looked at his stuff and it may be something to try one day if the shipping is not to much to the US.
