Here is an Australian one I can't seem to locate in Scott.

Sorry for all the posts on stamps I can't find, but as I mentioned I am going through a decent sized collection that my father gave to me and I have quite a few I can't seem to identify.

I will probably have a number more to come as well so please bear with me and thanks to all for helping me and providing very useful input.

Anyway, if you have any knowledge of this stamp please share.

Thanks as always.

It's an Australian airmail stamp.

Either C4 (perf 11) or C5 (perf 13x13.5). Your stamp looks like a C5, but measure your self to verify.

Your the man thanks. I see it now. Not sure how I missed that. It is there staring me in the face. I guess too many hours looking at catalogs you start to get blurry :)

It's a very pretty stamp. I love looking at the early Australian and Canadian airmails!

Thanks for posting the pic!

Hmmm - Australian stamps.... by any chance are you doing what I'm doing and going A-Z through the collection?! I have reached the dizzy heights of Argentina...

Hi stampgal. I am sort of I guess. But I don't have any Argentina to speak of. Mainly I have mainly Italy, Canada, and Australia that I am sorting through the most, along with a few other odd curious ones here and there. Luckily the rest of it is pretty straight forward. Scott works well. Just sometimes I don't work so well :)
