Where To Get Stamp Albums?

I am looking for some cheap stamp albums to keep my stamps,
as im keeping them in separate small envelopes for each
country, and im sure having an album is alot easier than
having 100 or so small envelopes :P

Any comments on where to start looking first? and
what to look for in an album, like type of material and
all that.

You might want to start off with stock books first as it will help organize and keep your stamps separate. There's Subway Stamps and there's Potomac Supplies. I've dealt with the latter quite a bit and they are part of Maryland Stamps & Coins of Bethesda, MD and they have a website:

Suggestion:
Depending on the quality of your collection.
If you are collecting used stamps, and happy to hinge.

Print out your own quadrille page, hinge stamps and
place in archival plastic cover sheet.

Cost about 40c to archive 80 stamps.
If a major collection amount, I allow
1 page per year, and add to it as examples arrive.

Store in a 4 ring binder $3.80

Their prices seemed competitive with other dealers mentioned in previous posts; however, I just placed my first order with them last evening so I can't vouch for the speed or quality of their service.

Oh my bad, yeah I meant stockbooks, not albums.

And my collection at the moment is not worth much
as they are mostly free or cheap stamps I've bought.

But they would be 5 dollars almost each, and I would want
something better than DIY.

There are quite a few options for stocksheets.

I am probably going to sound like an old broken record,
but if you managed to belong to a stamp club
you can get them pretty cheap.

In Australia they are referred to as "Hagners"
and sell retail at Post offices for $1.10

I have around 500 and sell them at my club (when I can)
for 30-40c each
The 7 strip are the most popular.

I find them bulky to use for secondry collections.
albeit they are a must for protecting quality stamps.

Don't discount DIY, at 30-40c a page, it has
economic benefits, it won't win any prizes
but its better than having stamps in envelopes

The scanner has not picked up that I have a light blue
grille behind these.
It is just a fun collection, and has lovely tactile feel
as you flip through the pages, which you will not
get with the lumpy hagner.

The prices for stock sheets/pages can vary a lot depending on numerous factors.

First, I would not buy used ones at any price... There is no way of knowing where they have been (in worst cases you bring mold or other spores to your collection/home).

Secondly... Be picky what you choose and see them in nature. There can be clear variations with these depending on manufacturer, product sub type - even the lot... Find out what's proper for you and the conditions (like heat/humitidy) you live in. Local stamp dealers and collectors are good sources of advice.

And third... When you find something you like and trust, don't buy the single pages/sheets individually. Buy a box or two (=several years of supply) in one go. It will save some money.

Once you get something you like, yes buying your next order in bulk will save you a lot in terms of volume discount and also shipping. Shop around AGAIN then to see who gives the best deal on volume purchases.
