I have got to buy me some Scott catalogues so that I know what's out there--this cruising ebay is tiring! ha Thanks Jan for showing that Iwo Jima Stamp!  Can we see more of your FLAG collection?! I have a small collection of US flags going but I never thought about the two Iwo Jima flag stamps--I will be adding those to my list, plus I will keep my eye open for the 1995 one for you. Drats, I looked through my used U.S. for the W W 2 stamps..the ones I have are mostly the 29 centers..do not have that one !! |

Speaking of Iwo jima try reading "Flags of Our Fathers"
Great book written by the son of the Navy Corpsmen John Bradley who was one of the Flag Raisers |

Those are some nice stamps. Now I have to ask if anyone has any of the 9/11 stamps with the Firemen on them I would love to see some of those. |

While looking thru some of my stamps lastnightI found one of those Iwo Jima stamps that I didn't know I had. Upon looking at it closer I realized just how nice a piece it is and how much history is in that one picture. |

I will send an Iwo Jima stamp and some others to you related navy army etc. If you want to send something in return great but not necessary. I just hope you enjoy them !

Hello gussyboy1. I have a Philippine stamp which shows the American flag at the side of the our country's flag. The theme is about our independence we got from USA on July 4, 1946. I will post the photo once I get the scanner or camera.
