Ahhh they are NOT found this after asking....

They were "issued" in 1934 by the New York American newspaper in honor of the 1934 National Stamp Exhibition in New York City. Produced by the American Banknote Company, these beautiful, detailed engravings depict Rockefeller Center.

are they worth putting in my albums?

They are Stamp Exhibition labels Edwin, very collectable.
These are extremely beautiful....indeed, many US Exhibition labels are extremely attractive.

I'll try and find a thread where they have been shown. There are one or two about.

Scott only lists US telegraph stamps in the Scott US Specialized catalog, not in the standard worldwide catalogs.

Your telegraph stamp is #16T81.

HUH figures!, you all had me buy that Specialized catalog, it came 2 days ago! I guess I should have opened it up and looked around in it too, wasted my time in what I knew. I was thinking Specialized was for covers.

guess I better go crack its binding see whats in there.

If Edwin keeps using his girlfriend as a stamp-slave, he'll be taking his to bed also.
