Well I've been running behind on my stamps and coins. Being sick last week didn't help. My partner Fred collected stamps when he was in boyscouts and we have his old book. Well yesterday he was cleaning out some boxes (left from when we moved 12 years ago) he found lots of neat stuff. There are large cardboards for coins, some old 33 albums, an autograph book, his brothers stamp collecting book and a bunch of stamps that are all dirty. Some are on paper and others are not.

My questions, should I soak these dirty stamps to clean them? How do I clean the ones I don't want to soak? I saw some postage due on the envelope and not sure if I want to soak the stamps off. These are a wide variety of stamps from a lot of different countries. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.
LeAnn

Hello LeAnn.....

Soaking loose stamps to clean them should not be a problem......covers can be carefully brushed with any sort of soft to mildly stiff brush.

Good luck.....
