These came to me in a lot of Dominican Back of Book, though not sure why these are BOB, unless there was a surcharge to raise money for clean-up from the hurricane, etc. Thoughts?
There were issued to raise awareness of the devastation from the 5th deadliest Atlantic Hurricane on record (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1930_D..._hurricane). I remembered that somebody here likes Red Cross stamps, so decided to share.
The "imperforate" stamp looks like somebody got at it with a pair of scissors. I don't have the Scott volume to read if it was issued this way or not?
