Easiest way to start might be by trying to identify what country the stamp is from, then check out a Scott Catalog. There are several volumes, alphabetic by nation, likely available at your local library. In there you will find pictures of the stamp, with info on the issue and a catalog value (which may or may not correlate to what you could actually sell it for if that is what you are looking to do).
There is lots of insight available on this site, if you get stuck trying to ID something.
My route would be to visit a stamp bourse with these under your arm, and see if you can get an appraisal from a dealer.
A cursory glance I note Dune Cinderellas from Ajman etc, which generally have very little value, but you have what looks like pristine Gold issues, which I have never seen in 10 years of collecting. These may or may not be valuable to a specialist collector.
If your intention is to dispose of them, then a dealer appraisal and auction would be your best route.
thanks for the info! not sure what I am going to do with them. mainly just trying to figure out where I can research them. a trip to the library sounds like agreat idea!
You will not be able to research the majority, from what I can see, most are referred to as "dune labels" and as such get a one line listing in sundry catalogues. Michel I think would be the best, I doubt if you will be able to secure values.
If I am mistaken and your experience proves otherwise, please let us know, I would be interested.
