The franking is curious, I'll lend you what little I understand
of your cover. (15/2/1954)

(from August 1st 1952) 2/- Aboriginal art=
basic telegram rate, Airmail rate to UK and most overseas countries.

comment: You would expect that to cover Australia to US right?

7.5d KG6
comment : this is curious (as this was only from 1956!)
7.5d covered the letter rate to foreign countries.

Dis 7.5d cover Antarctic to Aust ?

From memory there's no back markings at all, but I'm a long way from the cover at the moment.
