To me it's in between a FDC and a souvenir folder. It 's to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Grand Prix de Monaco car racing in 1967. I bought that more than 30 years ago at the stamp dealer in the departement store where I work then. Just found it beautiful then. Daniel

Absolutely beautiful Daniel!

I had 4 of those cars as "Dinky Toys" when I was a tacker.
Great to make the acquaintance again.

I assume we are seeing two sides. Some would call this a "maximum card."

Dinky Toys are what Hot Wheels are today - toy cars made of die cast metal. I too had them as a kid here in Canada (along with Matchbox cars).

As for "tacker", it must be and Australian word - the Rodster will have to answer that.

Moonbird is right, that would be a maximum card, but folded unfortunately. I guess similar to U.S. commemorative panels.

In French, I would say that "Rod est un numero". He's a one of a kind.

I'm still chuckling over one of his posts when he was talking about removing stamps from paper.

He said that if you do x, y and z, the stamp will end up "as flat as a halibut".

Another Rod comment involved the word "scalliwag". This is where you grab your belly with both hands and just have a good chuckle.

What a great link BeeSee,
took me back to when I was six
I had a red Alfa Romeo, it was coveted at school
by all, we used to race them down the tarmac
at lunch break, mine was the fastest, until that orrible
Billy grind got a Mercedes dinky for his birthday.
It was heavier and cleaned the lot of us up over the 5 metres or whatever it was.

Tacker?

Very striking artwork. Lovely

I had Corgis, Matchbox and Hot Wheels at different times. Great fun.
