While at work today I was doing some stamp research(Yes, at lunch time). I was looking at an old British Magazine that was found via Google. I searched for other volumes, I found none. I then had a thought to try Google UK. Boom, 6 more volumes. It's interesting that Google and Google UK have different Information. I could think of a number of reasons why. But, it doesn't matter.

Bottom line, When researching don't stop with one search engine try one from another country. You never know what you might find!

Hi revstampman,

I also have found discrepancies using a US Yahoo search and a Colombian Yahoo search.

For the US, try www.dogpile.com. The Dogpile sends inquiries to all the common US search engines. If I am doing research I will use Dogpile instead of Google or something else.

Search results depend on the search engine's pre-programmed search relevance which is different for each search engine.
