Here's a neat postcard I found it my collection, although written on.



For those who can't read the inscription it says:

Louisiana Purchase Exposition, St. Louis 1904
Palace of Electricity
Size 525 x 700 Feet
Cost $399,940.00

A sizable amount today; must have been staggering in 1904!

Interesting card..i like the expos..heres one thats right down the road from me.the Hudson Fulton Quadricentennial..i guess this ones from the tri centennial..where does the time go ?

Was it postally used?

They are a great addition to the commemorative stamps issued for the Expo. I've wanted a set of those for quite awhile, stamps and postcards.
