Hello All, Sometimes the online translators just don't work. I'm not getting anywhere with this postcard from Finland. Can anyone read the Russian handstamp that runs vertically through the middle of this 1916 postcard. Shame the one stamp is torn. Thanks, Will

I'm no help reading anything other than kopek, but the time frame suggested a censor mark, and I found this interesting site on Finnish censor marks during WWI.

Your particular handstamp doesn't seem to be pictured, but it is worth a look, for all sorts of reasons.

Thanks for the link Cjd. It probably is some form of censor handstamp. I didn't see a perfect match, but I did match up some of the words.
