Good morning, five for today.

Albion was the 5th Mendocino County PO, opened on Jun 29 1859 and is still open. California Town Postmarks 1850 - 1935 records 9 postmarks used from 1859 to 1935. The first known postmark is manuscript, CTP1850-1935 records manuscript postmarks from Mar 12,1866 to Jun 23,1870. The fourth digit of the year date in mostly missing on the cover below, but has a vertical pen stroke, so either 1, 4, or 7.
I want to believe that it is 1861. If a 4, there would be a wider space between the 3rd and 4th digits, (note the day date) a 7 probably would be angled. Not that it really matters, as there is nowhere to record that information. Last of my six May 1860's covers. You make the call.

Good morning, three for today.

Mendocino incoming from San Francisco,

Luffenholtz, Opened Mar 15 1904 and closed Jul 15 1909, this office had one postmark. California Town Postmarks 1850 - 1935 records usage from Jul 15, 1907 to May 8, 1908.
This May 25,1907 postmark was used as a receiver, can't read the originating postmark, somewhere in California 9 days away? Dou---ville? Anyway, another EKU.

Good morning, four today.

West Berkley to Mendocino.
West Berkley in Almeda County opened Sep 27, 1875 and changed to station of Berkley on Jun 30, 1900. California Town Postmarks 1850 - 1935 records nine postmarks, (a manuscript and eight commercial CDSs) and numbered them Ala(meda)-5080 to Ala-5160. Ala-5080 & Ala-5090 have EKUs with asterisks meaning an estimated date. Ala-5100 has only one date, Ala-5110, Ala-5120, Ala-5140 to Ala-5160 all have both EKUs and LKUs.
The postmark below is Ala-5130 and has an EKU of May 26, 1882.

Good morning, zero yesterday, two for today.

Hearst, opened Apr 25, 1891, closed Aug 15, 1953. This is the second of five postmarks known. California Town Postmarks 1850 - 1935 numbered it as Men-1570 and recorded usage from Sep 5, 1907 to Apr 11, 1912.

and a colorful Willits & San Fran. RPO, showing Sonoma County use. Golden Eagle Milling Co. sure likes elaborate corner cards, I showed another on Nov 13th, here, with ten others.

Good morning, three for today.

Rio Dell, this is Rio Dell's second fancy postmark (or third of 11, up till 1935), I showed the first fancy postmark on Mar 12, an EKU here;

https://goscf.com/t/11887&whichpage=152#848198

This is Rio Dell Hum-4250 with a recorded usage period of May 1,1888 to May 7 1889. Undelivered, this is 22 days later, an LKU, with several pointing fingers

Good morning, the last two for May brings the total up to 112 cards and covers. 83 more cards and covers than I posted in 2015.

Hartsook,

and Stumpville's last day. Opened Apr 16 1930, closed name changed to Rosewood Jun 1 1941. The cover disagrees with California Town Postmarks 1850 - 1935 as to when the office opened.

Good morning, two for yesterday and four for today. Pretty sure I found them all, maybe.
My only excuse is that I can't use the first as part of my search data because all 1591 entries will be highlighted in yellow, plus any 1st and 10 thru 19th, same with 18th or 19th.
Yesterday,

Rohnerville, more of a cut corner than a cover, but it does have Rohnerville's second Town & County (Hum-4360, in use for 6 years)

and Point Arena,

Jun 2,

Punta Arenas, a Wells Fargo cover postmarked with Punta Arenas' large saw-toothed double ring postmark Men-3300. California Town Postmarks 1850 - 1935 lists use from Feb 2 1882 to Feb 7 1884. This one is a couple of months later.

Inglenook,

Ukiah, posted 4/30/2022

and Cuddeback

Good morning, five for today.

Comptche,

Arthur opened Feb 19, 1903 and closed Nov 17 1905. This little office was between Ukiah and Calpella, which were only 6 miles apart

Calpella, posted on 6/4/2015 but cropped.

Cummings, some sort of commemorative cover, Hwy 101 dedication?

and Eureka & San Fran. RPO,

Edited to add Arthur information.
