Still can't figure out why the other Eureka Ferry card won't post, but here's another later photo/card, but you can't see her name.
The 299.5 foot Eureka was rebuilt using the bones of the Ukiah after WW I broke her back.

Another ferry,

edit; removed a word and my signature.

I like those ferries! Here's one of the ferry between Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, back before passports were required. Note the streetcars onboard!

A few more. I was raised in Ann Arbor, so naturally I had to pick up the namesake ship card.

Cascade Locks still exist, but are no longer functional. I pass the town frequently whenever I drive to and from Portland.

Here's some additional pics:

Addressee to War Veteran Captain Percy Willis

Built in 1909 for Matson Navigation Company as SS Wilhelmina, she sailed from the West Coast of the United States to Hawaii until 1917. After her war service, she was returned to Matson and resumed Pacific Ocean service. In the late 1930s she was laid up in San Francisco, California, until sold to a British shipping company in 1940. While a part of a convoy sailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Liverpool, she was sunk by U-94 on 2 December 1940.

"Here is the boat that brings most of my mail."

Here's a pic of a woman actually aboard the SS Wilhelmina in 1928.

These are all wonderful images. What an interesting look into the past. It makes me want to start collecting old postcards.
