Regarding the images of used stamps, it is up to the seller to scan and display the image of the stamp they are offering. This is the a similar approach to what other platforms do. Alternatively, you can request a scan of the stamp being offered from the seller.
I find that loading stamps to sell on platforms other than StampWorld is quite a labour-intensive process. I use Stampworld to sell my more 'run-of-the-mill' stamps and another platform to sell my more eclectic items.
After many attempts (26 messages) at trying to get some response from Stampworld support, I am now convinced that it is dying. Does anybody else have issues with Stampworld or is it only me?
Apart fron no watermark images, the messaging function does not handle 'replies', and formatting as it should. As a seller, I receive no email notifications of client orders and messages, and their implementation of the Cloudfare protection system is poor causing 'freezing' and double loading of stamps and messages...
If I add to this the lack of response from their support and their senior management (Operations Manager) to my messages over the past 6 months then the conclusion is that Stampworld is dying. It's a pity though because I still think it is a great service..
They auto-confirmed that I emailed them, about the WM. Maybe they are less useful for trading, but sufficient as an online catalog and for comparing stamps. The golden rule: The lower the expectations - the lower the disappointment.
