I tried promoting a handful of listings. I set the rate at 12% and put a maximum of $5 a day for clicks. The first two days it went over budget by 60% and clicks were around 50 cents each. I pay 5-7 cents a click on FB. I cancelled the promotion. Then a week later a got charged a promotion fee for an expensive sale. It turns out that deleting a campaign doesn't actually cancel it. This experience was negative from start to finish. I will not be doing that again.
