Registered air mail. Wonder if the sender ever received his order.




1919 - Labasa, Fiji to Chicago, Illinois US


A Montgomery Ward cover, possibly a potential new customer requesting a catalogue with this short-paid letter.


1902 - Cook Islands to Bourges, France via Auckland, New Zealand.


An up-rated post office postal card transits through Auckland on September 8, 1902 enroute to Bourges, Cher on arriving on October 20. The card was mailed August 28.

1922 - Ferryville, Tunisia to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US




1957 - Grand Anse, Praslin, Seychelles to Victoria, Seychelles


So, the collector was moving around Praslin posting postage due mail to his post office box in Victoria. Similar item seen earlier.



1901 - Seychelles to Mauritius

Item is backstamped arrival in Mauritius ten days later. Post office postal stationery envelope employed for this mailing.



1963 - Singapore Airport to Christmas Island, Pacific Ocean



In Singapore, the clerk saw Christmas and reacted too soon putting it in the Indian Ocean bag. From Singapore the amount of mail going to the Pacific Ocean Christmas Island would be substantially less. The letter was missent to Christmas Island, Indian Ocean, arriving on October 24, where it was rerouted to Christmas Island, Pacific Ocean.

and Eureka, almost deja vu, a match for yesterday's Eureka slogan canceled card, although it was mailed 3 years later.
