Water lilies (Nymphaea candida) and Edible Frog (Pelophylax kl. esculentus, aka Rana esculenta), designed by Czech artist Jozef Baláž (1923-2006), combined engraved by Vaclav Fajt and photogravure, and issued by Czechoslovakia on April 28, 1983 as one of a set of six stamps depicting protected species, Scott No. 2457, plus a photo of one of these hybrid amphibians seated upon a lily pad.

Another Edible Frog (Pelophylax kl. esculentus, aka Rana esculenta), designed by Liechtenstein artist Louis Jaeger, printed by photogravure, and issued by Liechtenstein on June 6, 1974, Scott No. 538.

Frogs on leap day cancels/cachet. Two of them are official cachets from Toledo Ohio's Tolpex show. Toledo is known as frogtown.

Uruguay 2015 Melanophryniscus montevidensis - a black toad found in the Uruguay wetlands.
This stamp is found on a large souvenir sheet on the International Convention of Wetlands.

Fiji ground frog (Platymantis vitianus) is endemic to Fiji. The species maintains populations throughout the forested parts of the islands. it can grow up to body lengths of 11 centimeter.
