DCStamps - very useful charts, congatulations. I hope you will add new ones soonest possible.

I wonder what will nigelc say on your Crete one. I miss the German occupation there.

.

I will do my best to supply the missing 88.

Could you perhaps publish the numbers per countries, please?

Slowly but surely I am doing new ones. I just added the one for Russian Central Asia and Mongolia last week.

The next one will probably be in the Balkins (and may have to be two charts, pre and post WW1)

Also, regarding Crete, by the time of WW2, they were fully integrated into Greece, Crete was no longer considered an individual "country." The charts are meant to understand the movement of individual countries, not all of their various regions.

DCStamps thank you for the explanation of Crete - hence only individual countries. I understand you had to set some criteria.

I had the same problem with my updated list 780 ASFE stamp issuing entities, you can google it.

In your dead countries list you linked the countries with pictures of stamps. It would be extremely helpful if you linked the charts the same way.

I do list the transition chart in the full Dead Countries list http://www.dcstamps.com/list-of-dead-countries/, but I do this for the group (not for each country). However, I realize that I hadn't included the new Russian Central Asia Chart on this page. Oops!

I will fix this. The site is getting big enough that I need to create appropriate links on all of the pages every time I add a new material. Sometimes I forget one, such in this case.

Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,

I know how complicate it is to link everything together. I do the ASFE 780 Stamps Issuing Entities Updated List interactive, too

Penguins - Hi Ron, you wrote to have stamp booklets from 98 countries. But how do you treat booklets of transport companies, or even private booklets?

Thanks Peter

Cool, I have never seen the ASFE 780 Stamps Issuing Entities Updated List before.

I guess I need to go through it carefully to see if there are any Dead Countries I am missing. When I go these lists, sometimes I find a little gem that I was unaware of.

Thanks for sharing

floortrader - you mentioned to have Long island, among others. It is a rather rare item. Have you got just 1 stamp or collected even the whole country? Can we see it?

Some seller on ebay recently listed his "one stamp from every county" collection. There are various ebay auctions going on with this topic. It's a rich history collection covering 150 years of stamp issues. Through the Kenmore Stamp Co. I found a "one coin from every country" collection for sale.
