I believe that your "BP" perfin was the die used for Banque de Paris et des Pays-Bas or Paris Bank (Seine, Paris). They were used from 1897 to 1934 and your scanned stamp fits into that time frame.
The "GT" perfin was used by the Guaranty Trust Company in the Seine area of Paris from 1926 to 1934 and again the stamp you have scanned does indeed fit that time frame.
Hope this helps you out.
BTW - since you do not collect perfins per se, would you consider sellnig or trading them? Just wondering <G>
What ever is better for you. I really interested in Commonwealth stamps especially Canadian Provinces and Australian States. Since I don't know anything about their value as perfins, I'll send them over to you and you can decide what do you want to give me for them.
Give me your address.
BTW, I was searching the web and found this one website about French perfins.
Would you please email me at muskokapost@gmail.com ?
I have some used stamps from Newfoundland if you are interested? The perfins you have scanned generally sell from 50 cents to a dollar apiece. I would be swilling to pay the $1.00 apiece or trade for that equivalent if this meets your approval?
Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you.
