You said you were moving I think. Should I use a new address or is the old one (this year) still OK to use? |

. . . and I just noticed the Israel one is stuck on but a bit of clear tape.
I'll send them all, just didn't want to over-burden you or anything. |

Rod222 I just feel I missed something over the years. I usually keep the stamps but the envelope with sometime an etiquette goes in the recycling. Your picture of etiquettes look wonderful. Par avion Par avion Par avion Par avion... |

Thanks for those nice words Daniel, collections like that were never designed, intended, or sought. I have a "sorting gene" in my collecting habit :) (don't we all) and I used to buy lots of Phossick boxes of junk that had etiquettes at back of book.
I would mount them haphazardly on pages, but after a while as the quantity increases, they take on a life of their own, they become a "collection"
Yes, I reckon they do look nice, albeit half are unidentified, but like anything, these little scraps of paper as a "collection" would bring big dollars at auction. I buy them at the red cross shop for 5c, place them on a few pages and they bring $20 -$30. Just another way to finance stamp collecting on a budget. :)
The same goes for parcel stickers, registration labels, cinderellas and the like.

To continue on this topic, this is a newer airmail etiquette found on a cover from Germany to the U.S.: Maybe it's a common one, but I haven't seen it depicted in this thread, so thought I'd post it now. |
