Charity Stamp ID? Good Templars - Dawn Society Eye Bank 1966

Anyone care to help ID this cinderella/charity stamp?



I've attempted to look it up on the internet and can find no relevant references to the organization, or any Eye Bank in Daly City, CA, which leads me to believe it is either defunct or has moved, changed its name, or merged with another group.

I did come up with "Good Templars" as being a small international fraternal organization, but that seems a far reach as having any connection with this charity stamp.

Any ideas?

Here's the only Google reference I could find to both Dawn Society and the Good Templars. It's from the February 1942 edition of Popular Mechanics magazine.

Thanks for responding. It is good to connect the Dawn Society sponsorship to the International Order of Good Templars. As I said originally, I did find that organization but could not connect it to the Eye Bank of Daly City, CA.
