Now, I thought I had my topography well under control, so when I got these cinderellas I assumed this was a made up place. But guess what, it actually exists...

Bogus and Cancelled-to-Order.

There are 'stamps' from most of the other Republics too.

Most are fairly ugly.

I don't know if they are ugly but they are interesting.

On the 1500 the male apears to be mounting the female. Never seen that on a stamp before.
Perhaps they're only cuddling.

Buriatia also as Buryatia is a Russian Republic, it is a real place but has never issued it's own postage stamps. Capital is Ulan-Ude.
