Sounds like a great show! I think if I went to a show like that there wouldn't be enough time in the day to get thru everything. Plus, they'd have to give me a shopping cart and I know they don't do that! ha
How do you handle "shopping" at a big stamp/FDC show?? Do you have certain dealers you like to go to or just start checking them out one at a time or shop by theme?

CLIFTON 2008 SPRING STAMP, COVER & POSTCARD SHOW

Decided to take a ride and visit the show.

T-360, Tom, you would have had a field day. Columbian covers at very reasonable prices, and documentary stamps on checks, and other entire pieces.

I was able to pick up some complete Samoa sets, and some complete Austrian semi- postal sets from the WW2 era.

Also, what a small world, the show director, Mr Thomas Stidl, makes up his clubs circuit book's, and sends them to my stamp club. The Cortlandt Water-markers.

We spoke for about an hour, and he was amazed at the amount of dollars our club spends on his monthly circuits.

Picked up some nice clean worldwide covers for my cover collection, and a few Naval Covers out of the 25 cent boxes.

Also picked up a nice FDC from Guatemala, which will go to my BESTEST BUDDY PHIL
