To save some money for stamps & covers, I think I will leave my car at home and drive my wife's Honda hybrid down to this show in Dedham tomorrow.

I'm ready!

Maybe someday I'll take the time to drive down there for one of those stamp shows. I have quite a few relatives that would like me to visit.
Have fun Tom

The show was crowded and about 1/2 stamps and 1/2 coins.
Very few US covers though. One guy had a lot of nice European covers.

A satcheleer (actually a briefcase dealer) overheard me asking for covers and I looked over his stock sitting together in the hotel lobby. I bought this 1868 Louisville, Ky advertising cover with a 30c Franklin stamp addressed to Frankfurt Germany. There are several interesting markings on it including "New York PKT 7 Paid", "AACHEN 124 FRANCO" and "per Prussian closed mail."
