Hello, this is my first post. A bit of a novice here. When looking at Russian Stamp Scott #'s 45,68,and 87, is it pretty obvious what vertially laid, horizontally laid and woven look like to the naked eye? Thanks, Jon

Welcome jderke:

Welcome to SCF -- I hope you'll go to the 'introductions' forum and post there so everyone can get to know you and learn more about your collecting interests.

Also; fyi, you can delete your own posts using the trash can icon on the "Posted Today" line at the top of your post.

welcome Jon,

In these images obviously the "laid" image shows horizontal laid,
the vertical laid would lay 90 degrees to that.
Hope this helps.
Novices welcome, they all bring a new slant on philately.
