I took a look at my Paleontology stamp album and I was surprised that there are more than 60 different stamps show prehistoric elephants in addition to several postmarks, covers and FDC's. Since I don't want to turn this thread to paleontology thread, I will not post all stamps and items. Hence I chose five stamps from them I think are the most attractive. Here they are:

The first stamp in the world depicts prehistoric animal was issued by India on January 13, 1951 shows Stegodon ganesa. It was issued to commemorate the centenary of the geological survey of India:

The Trung sisters (c. 14 – c. 43) were Vietnamese military leaders who ruled for three years after rebelling against the first Chinese domination of Vietnam. They are regarded as national heroines of Vietnam. Their names were Trung Trac and Trung Nhi. Trung Trac was the first woman to be a Vietnamese monarch, as well as the only queen regnant in the history of Vietnam and she was accorded the title Queen Trung.

Here are two from Thailand. The first from 2010 shows god Indra riding on many-headed elephant and the second was issued in 2016 for the Buddhist new year and shows figure from Buddhist legend:

To raise awareness to endangered species, Gibraltar issued on September 25, 2011 a set of six animal stamps, among them the Asian Elephant (Elephas maximus):

The stamps were issued also in SS shows the elephant in the margin:
