Quote: Another couple that I haven't been able to find used yet are these 'double heads' The first is the 'pale' QV and the second is the 1st elliptical both from booklets I think.
Does this count?

You are the second person to ignite my passion with a beautiful display of stamps, you have gotten my attention more than once. I must compare info with you on this Machins matter. I must get to my lab. |

I have plenty of the regular double heads used. Just those two from booklet panes elude me. One is from booklet pane dp151 the other from dp306 or 403.
I have just completed the regionals :) |

That is an interesting one Fernando. Perhaps there was a bit of gum on the paper when printed?
Telifonico - The 3p Scottish regional is interesting as it has a Stoke Newington postmark. That is my place of birth which is in London! |

Thanks but I'm up for a trade quite yet. I'm still not too sure which direction I'm going with these yet. I'll let you know. |

On checking me e-mail this morning I got a message from someone from across the globe telling me that the most active stamp forum viewed by many of them is the SCF , they have been viewing this for a period of time and have been intense on our family drama day to day ,he has stated that many of them would like to join but the language barrier is the problem , they are also interested in trading and buying, I explained to him that I could not have found a better place on the planet to learn english in a short period of time It took me about 6 months before I joined just reading. I,m now learning to compose my topics with info.( as for the stamps I will trade at any given time). I_love_stamps you have put me to the test. They are interested in the "Double Heads' I will do what you are doing wait patiently. |

One will come your way I'm sure. I just can't trade any yet until I get them all sorted and cataloged and know exactly what I have. I don't want to trade one off that I may need in the future. your welcome though. On the other topic of SCF being a great site- It certainly is. I haven't been active on many other forums but this one stands out as being more user friendly and educational. Just my 2Ē. |

Based upon Tefloncinco's post, I just sent a note to the staff requesting that SCF include a translation program such as Google Translate or Babblefish so that non English speaking members, or potential members, can participate on SCF. I have used both, and though neither are perfect, both functioned well with acceptable results. marty |
