Litho: my scanner is an HP3670 and I use an old version of ACDSee - no relation to BeeSee as far as I know - for image manipulation |

Most Canadian current scenic definitives have microprinting, here is an example: It says "Sambro Island NS" in the center on the shore. It is a bit dark, I will try to get a better scan when I get home. |

Which leads me to the obvious two questions: 1]. Do you have a scanner at work ? 2]. Do you take your stamps to work ? Londonbus1.....Needs a better scanner |

I would love to see some sharp close ups of the microprinting BC. Here are more of the dates and designer initials. Scott 321 Sorry not too clear on this used stamp. I had a mint copy of the Totem but since it was poorly centered I used it on a parcel in the mid sixties when they were still available at the PO but I never got around to replacing it. How does the saying go? Never put off till tommorrow..... |

Londonbus1.....Needs a better scanner I do have a scanner at work, and I rarely take my stamps to work. Those microprinting scans were done at home a while back, and there are linked from my website, brcstamps.com |

I just tried scanning one of the Flag over Mills stamps and failed again. Strange, I managed it for the Christmas, 2010 thread a few days ago.
Shucks ! |

But now that I'm retired I can fool around with my stamps all day except when the wife starts nagging me about doing nothing all day. Well here goes nothing. Scott 322 Date only, no designer's initial, at least I couldn't find one. Scott 323 Scott 324 H is for Otto Hahn, the designer |
