Here are images of the five engraved stamps in a set depicting Olympics sports issued by Monaco on May 3, 1976 to publicize the 21st Summer Olympic Games held in Montreal, Canada, Scott Nos. 1025-29.

Here's a nifty Russian Boxing stamp from the 1960 Olympics. Don't know if it's shown previously, haven't gone through the last 15 pages for a while. Take me chances.

Ice hockey goalkeeper, designed by Austrian etcher and painter Josef Seger (1908-1998), combined engraved by Alfred Fischer and photogravure, and issued by Austria on March 17, 1967 to publicize the 34th World Ice Hockey Championships, held in Vienna, Scott No. 788. Face masks are for wimps.

Here are images of two stamps depicting athletes, printed by photogravure, and issued by Bulgaria on August 29, 1959 as part of a set of six stamps publicizing the 1958-59 Spartacist Games, Scott Nos. 1057 & 1058, SG Nos. 1148 & 1159.

It's Summer Olympics time! Here is an image of a stamp depicting a female swimmer, designed by Czech artist Anna Podzemna-Suchardova (1909-1991), combined engraved by Jindra Schmidt and photogravure, and issued by Czechoslovakia on September 2, 1964 to publicize the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, Scott No. 1262.

China FDC in 1990. (11th Asian Olympic Games) that has the original autographs of gold medal winners. An interesting and rare piece of sports collected.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting gymnasts, storks and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Strasbourg, designed and engraved by Jacques Gauthier, and issued by France on October 21, 1978 to publicize the 19th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, held in Strasbourg, France, October 23-29, Scott No. 1618, Y&T No. 2019. Note: The stork is the symbol of Strasbourg and of the Alsace region of France.
